Hello Sushi needed a digital menu guests could reach by scanning a QR code at their table — covering the full 77-dish menu across sushi, Burmese, Thai, and Chinese food — along with a public site for hours, location, reviews, and reservations.
77 dishes across 14 categories and four cuisines is a lot to put in front of someone on a phone at a restaurant table. It had to stay fast to scan, easy to filter by category or diet, and still feel personal rather than like a long, flat list — while also giving each table its own scoped view of the menu.
I built a custom React app with a table-aware QR menu — scanning the code at Table 07 opens straight to that table's view — with category, popularity, and dietary filters (vegetarian, spicy), a "Recommended for you" layer, and bilingual dish names in English and Burmese throughout.
